A – YES! Cannabis is now legal. New cannabis laws in Canada allow adults over the age of

18 years and up to possess up to 30 grams of legal cannabis, dried, or equivalent in a non-
dried form. The Cannabis Act has defined possession limits for all Cannabis products with

the following framework giving 1 gram of dried cannabis equal to:
– 5 grams of fresh cannabis (maximum 150 grams of fresh cannabis)
– 15 grams of edible product
– 70 grams of liquid product
-.25 grams of concentrate (solid or liquid)
-1 cannabis plant seed

A – Cannabis concentrate are becoming increasingly popular, but their potency and
unique form can be intimidating. There are a few differences between “weed” and
“concentrates”.
– Concentrates is an umbrella term that refers to a variety of cannabis forms such as
“Shatter, Reson, BHO, Co2, Wax, Crumble, Honey Oil, Dabs, Hash, Tincture, and Capsules.
– Concentrates are more potent falling typically between 50-80% THC while weed potency
is between 10-25% THC.

A – When you buy weed online its important that you purchase from a trusted website.
Many
Website appear to have safe and highly potent products. This may be true, however we
have a few tips to help you make a better more information educated decision.
Tip 1 – While visiting the site do the prices seem too good to be true? If so keep searching
Tip 2 – Does the website seem authentic in their showcase of the products? Look for
company logos on the photos of their products and stay away from websites that copy
and past their content. Would your local pharmacy do that?
Tip 3 – Buy a generic boxed item first to gauge the way they do business. Feel free to use
their live chat button(s) and ask questions regarding the websites customer service.

A – CBD stands for Cannabidiol. It is the least controversial extract from the HEMP plant
because of the non-psychoactive and its non-intoxicating properties. Marijuana itself has
more than 100 active components. THC which stands for Tetrahydrocannabinol is the
active ingredient causing the “high”. CBD products and strains have little or no THC so
patients report very little if any alteration in consciousness. There are many benefits of
CBD relieving insomnia, anxiety, spasticity and pain to treat harmful illnesses such as
epilepsy. Animals like dogs and cats have also seemed to have experienced relief from
challenging sickness and illnesses.

A – Results from a longitudinal study in New Zealand found that persistent marijuana use
with frequent use starting during adolescence concluded a loss of 6 to 8 IQ points.
However results from two prospective longitudinal twin studies DID NOT SUPPORT a
causal relationship between marijuana use and IQ loss during adulthood.

A – The amount of THC in marijuana has been increasing steadily over the past few
decades. For a person who’s new to marijuana use, this may mean exposure to higher
THC levels with a greater chance of a harmful reaction. Higher THC levels may explain the
rise in emergency room visits involving marijuana use.
The popularity of edibles also increases the chance of harmful reactions. Edibles take
longer to digest and produce a high. Therefore, people may consume more to feel the
effects faster, leading to dangerous results.
Higher THC levels may also mean a greater risk for addiction if people are regularly
exposing themselves to high doses.
